Parental Alienation Syndrome

If you have been exposed to Parental Alienation Syndrome we hope these articles will help you understand more about the effects this devastating abuse can have.  Whether you are a parent or a child PAS is hard to swallow.

Children have to live with the affects of PAS for the rest of their lives.  PAS is child abuse and all children need to be protected from abuse.  From our perspective, this includes hitting children, screaming at, spanking, excessive punishment, humiliation and using weapons for formal punishment.

The very things we often deem 'good parenting', such as - protecting and  isolating little Mary from her 'not nice' parent or hitting her 'for her own good', are the very things that can damage children for life.  What children need is to feel safe in a trusting environment.

If you have any articles or reports on this subject please send me them, especially any that are from recent studies.
